Just a thought.

In the Philippines, Democracy is abused. Rich families gain control of the ‘free country’. Media abuses the so called ‘Freedom of Speech’. And all that.

Makes me think, a Communist Republic is not that bad. Two words. Control and Discipline.

MY BLOODY MANILA [血まみれの マニラ] - Concept Cover

My ‘Manga’ project that will never see the light of the day.

Basically, an alternate universe where the Empire of Japan won the WWII and gains total control of the whole Asia-Pacific region.

The story revolves around an orphan Filipino boy [parents were murdered], how he grew up inside a ‘camp’ and how he deals with life on a foreign-military controlled country. He then joins the army [“if you can’t beat them from the outside, maybe you can inside” plot] then he dies in the end. Or maybe not. Whatever.

[This post also coincides with the “Anniversary of the Battle for Manila” today… Americans call it ‘Liberation’, we should call it ‘Mass Murder’]
